Created through reflection, intuition, and the changing language of flame.
A message in the flame, painted just for you
Fire Scrying is a quiet, intuitive practice of listening to what fire has to show — shapes, colors, symbols, and feelings that arise in the flame. I turn what I see there into a one-of-a-kind painting and a written message, created only for you.
No two are ever alike. Yours begins with your question and your energy — and ends as art you can live with and return to.
Choose a digital keepsake or an original painting on canvas, shipped to your home. Both include your personalized written message. To book, fill out the form on this page with your name, email, and a short message including your date of birth (time if known), full name at birth, and city/state of birth. I'll reply personally from Jazzdiva2269@gmail.com to confirm your spot and share Venmo or PayPal payment details.
For as long as people have gathered around fire, they have watched the flame for meaning. Fire Scrying is that ancient, human act — made intentional.
In your session, I sit with a flame in quiet focus, holding your name and any question on your heart. I notice what emerges — a returning color, a figure in the smoke, a symbol, a sudden reassurance. I record what comes, then I paint it: a visual home for your message, beautiful and personal, yours to keep.
Meet the artist behind the flame
I'm Susan Smith Cohen, the artist behind Mystic Artistry. My paintings explore the healing wisdom of nature, memory, and imagination. Alongside a lifetime of painting, I've spent 40+ years teaching piano and voice — learning to listen deeply. I bring that same listening to Fire Scrying.
Every painting is made by hand in my studio — never templated, never repeated.
Your name, your question, your moment shape each session.
Unlike a reading that ends when the call ends, you keep the painting and the message.
$95 — Digital Keepsake: your personalized painting and written message, delivered by email.

This may be for you if…
You're at a crossroads, or sensing something shifting.
You want original art with personal meaning.
You're marking a moment — a birthday, a healing season, a beginning.
You want a one-of-a-kind gift for someone who "has everything."
Or you're simply curious. Curiosity is often how the flame first gets our attention.
Questions Answered:
Do I need a specific question? — No. A clear question or simply "what do I most need to see right now?" — both are welcome.
Do we meet on a call? — No. Your session happens quietly in my studio; that's why you receive a written message to read slowly and revisit.
How long will it take? — Digitals: 7–10 days. Originals: 10–14 days including drying and shipping. I'll email you if I ever need longer.
How do I book and pay? — Fill out the form on this page (name, email, birth details, and your tier choice). I'll reply from Jazzdiva2269@gmail.com to confirm and send Venmo or PayPal details.
What size is the original? — 8×10-inch canvas, signed, shipped flat with tracking (US).
Is this a psychic prediction? — Less prediction, more reflection: a mirror held up by fire and art. You remain the author of your life.
Your painting is waiting in the flame
If you've read this far, something in you is already curious. You don't need the perfect question — bring yourself as you are.
I accept four commissions a month, each painted by hand for its recipient. When you're ready, I'd be honored to create yours. Questions? Jazzdiva2269@gmail.com — or just fill out the form and we'll begin.
